After 5 years of preparation as a sole proprietorship, Speedbone GmbH was founded in 2002 and has since operated a data center at the Alboin-Kontor location in Berlin Tempelhof.

The choice of property was easy. After the liberalization of the telecom industry, the hub of the Berlin/Brandenburg network was established at Alboin-Kontor.

Even today, most carriers in the region have their own fibers or wavelengths here. So it’s no surprise that you’ll find almost every provider here and can connect with them.

This location advantage is also appreciated by large players, who have been our customers for many years. The best conditions for your future as well.

Infrastructure

is up to date with modern technology. Because we believe that responsible use of resources not only contributes to economic efficiency but should also be a fundamental requirement for any business in our times, we have been using green energy for more than a decade.

Cooling is done via free cooling, meaning that at low outside temperatures, cooling is achieved solely through ventilation – without the need for compressors.

The UPS systems are redundant and backed up by diesel generators. Of course, everything is regularly maintained.

If desired, you can have multiple independent power feeds, secured with different UPS systems and diesel generators.

Access control and monitoring are, of course, also available.
