Energy-Efficient Cooling Concept
In the Speedbone Data Center, the racks are not placed freely in the room but grouped into so-called cold aisle islands.
This ensures that the cold air supply through the raised floor only needs to be directed into these cold aisles.
The servers draw in this cold air and, after being warmed through the cooling process, exhaust it back into the room.
This reduces the space to be cooled, and the cold air can be blown directly to where it is needed.
With Free Cooling
With free cooling, warm air is only cooled down by the compressors when the outside temperature exceeds 18°C. Below 18°C, the outside air is drawn in, filtered, and directed to the correct spot in the data center by fans.
